Flat Iron | Herb Salad | Chimichurri | Shallot
Ingredients
For The Dish:
1 8 Oz., Flat Iron Steak
1 Cup, Shallots, Sliced
1/2 Bunch, Watercress
1 Cup, Cilantro Leaves
1 Cup, Basil Leaves
1 Cup, Mint Leaves
1/2 Cup, Gardel's Spicy Balsamico
2 Limes, Zested + Juiced
1/4 Cup, Olive Oil
Salt + Black Pepper, To Taste
Directions
For The Dish:
- Make sure the steak is room temperature and season the steak with salt + pepper.
- Grill the steak until it is rare; approx. 3 minutes per side.
- Let the steak rest.
- In a mixing bowl combine the watercress, shallots and picked herbs. Dress teh salated with lime zest, lime juice and 1 tablespoon of the Gardel's Spicy Balsamico.
- Thinly slice the steak and place the slices in a single layer on a plate of your choice.
- Dress the steak with the remaining Gardel's Spicy Balsamico and top with the salad.
