"We both have been lucky to call the Midwest home - a culinary region that draws from communal gatherings, family dinners, and true blue Americana. For our collaboration with The FareTrade we wanted to spotlight some of our favorite local producers - items we already utilize at our restaurants rye and bluestem in Kansas City - and introduce them to members’ homes across the nation. Having the opportunity to share with The FareTrade community products from hardworking and dedicated artisans that we call our friends is rewarding - we’ve been incredibly lucky to combine our culinary talents and careers into two restaurants and a chance to give back to our neighborhood is a wonderful opportunity.
